Global Brigades is the world’s largest student-led global health and sustainable development organization. Since 2004, Global Brigades has mobilized thousands of university students and professionals through nine skill-based service programs to improve quality of life in under resourced communities. Global Brigades was brought to UCD in 2009, and this year we are bigger than ever. The sectors we have to offer are:
Law
Public Health
Medical
Water
Business
Dental
We hope to get as many volunteers as possible to travel with us to Honduras, Panama or Ghana. If you are interested in improving the health and quality of life of an under resourced community, as well as the opportunity to travel and experience a new culture, then Global Brigades is right for you!
If you are interested, please fill out the following application and turn it in via email by 11:59 pm Friday, October 28th. Please keep answers between 75 – 125 words. Please type your answers, save the document as “Last Name_First Name_PHB Application” and send to: globalbrigadesexecutive@ucdavis.edu with “Public Health Brigades” written in the subject line.
